Commercial & Industrial Fencing Case Studies | Lee Group

Real infrastructure projects delivered across Melbourne. From large-scale noise walls to high-security fencing, explore how Lee Group performs where it matters most.

North East Link Project

North East Link Project

One of Victoria’s most complex infrastructure developments required precision, scale, and coordination across multiple stages. Lee Group delivered high performance noise wall systems designed to meet strict acoustic and environmental standards. Our team ensured seamless execution across active zones while maintaining safety and efficiency at every level. Each installation was engineered for long term durability and performance. This project reflects our ability to deliver large scale infrastructure solutions with consistency and control.

Acoustic Sliding Gate Installation, Melbourne Shopping Complex

Acoustic Sliding Gate, Melbourne Shopping Complex

A major Melbourne shopping complex needed a gate solution that could manage constant vehicle and pedestrian movement without adding to site noise. Lee Group designed, fabricated, and installed a bi-parting sliding gate spanning fourteen metres wide and seven metres tall, engineered to carry several tonnes of steel and acoustic panelling. The structure was built in sections to allow safe transport and controlled assembly on site. Full automation was paired with acoustic panelling, giving the site a system that handles access smoothly while reducing noise transfer nearby. This project reflects our capability in large scale gate engineering for demanding commercial environments.

Dundrum Civil BESS Facility, Wooreen

Dundrum Civil BESS Facility, Wooreen

Battery energy storage sites call for security fencing that can adapt around live infrastructure already in place. Lee Group supplied and installed approximately fifteen hundred metres of galvanised chainmesh fencing alongside concrete plinth works and ten gates across the Wooreen site. Sections of the fence line ran directly through existing cable trays, requiring careful adjustment of posts and rails to keep services fully accessible. Persistent rain and remote site conditions extended the build across four visits instead of two, with our team prioritising accuracy over speed. This project highlights our ability to deliver complex, infrastructure aware fencing solutions in regional Victoria.

High Security Fencing for Data Centre and AI Infrastructure

Data Centre & AI Infrastructure Security Fencing

Critical infrastructure sites carry risk considerations that standard commercial fencing cannot address. Lee Group was engaged to design and install a layered high security perimeter for a cloud computing and AI infrastructure facility, combining crash rated fencing with advanced gate systems. PAS68 rated Palisade fencing formed the primary barrier, tested to withstand vehicle impact threats at defined speeds and weights. Access points were secured with PAS rated sliding and swing gates, rising arm barriers, and finger proof mesh fencing suited to each zone's security classification. This project reflects our growing capability in critical infrastructure fencing alongside our established rail and industrial experience.
