Lee Group’s scope covered the full perimeter and access control fencing requirements of the facility. Works included the installation of PAS68-rated Palisade fencing as the primary perimeter barrier, a crash-rated solution engineered to provide robust protection against high-impact vehicle threats. Access points were secured with a suite of advanced gate systems including PAS-rated sliding gates, swing gates, rising arm barriers, DEFCON 358 finger-proof mesh fencing and gates, and chain link swing gates, each specified and configured to meet the site’s particular security zoning requirements.
PAS68 is the benchmark standard for hostile vehicle mitigation in high-security environments. A PAS68-rated installation is independently tested and certified to withstand vehicle impacts at defined speeds and weights, making it the appropriate specification for facilities where vehicle-borne threats are a credible risk. For a cloud computing and AI infrastructure site, where physical breach carries consequences well beyond the site boundary, a crash-rated perimeter was the only appropriate starting point.

Perimeter fencing is only as effective as the access points within it. Lee Group installed a layered access control fencing solution across the facility, with each gate type selected to match the traffic profile and security classification of its location. PAS-rated sliding and swing gates handle primary vehicle access with the same crash-rated performance as the perimeter fencing. Rising arm barriers control vehicle flow at secondary access points. DEFCON 358 finger-proof mesh fencing and gates secure pedestrian zones and internal boundaries where anti-climb and anti-cut performance is required. Chain link swing gates cover lower-security utility access points, completing a fully integrated perimeter system.
