Certifications and Accreditations

Lee Group holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications alongside ISO 3834-2, AS/NZS 5131 CC3 and DTP G2-NW accreditation, delivering compliant, safe and sustainable fencing solutions across Australia.

Certifications and Accreditations

At Lee Group, quality, safety and environmental responsibility are not simply commitments we make to our clients. They are standards we hold ourselves to at every stage of our operations, from initial design through to installation and handover. Our certifications and accreditations reflect this discipline and provide our clients with independent assurance that our systems, processes and people meet recognised national and international benchmarks.

Below is an overview of the certifications and accreditations that underpin our work, what each one represents, and how it translates into tangible benefits for our clients.

ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems

Lee Group certifications
Lee Group holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications alongside ISO 3834-2, AS/NZS 5131 CC3 and DTP G2-NW accreditation, delivering compliant, safe and sustainable fencing solutions across Australia.

ISO 9001:2015 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems. Holding this certification means our processes for planning, delivering and reviewing our services are structured, consistent and subject to ongoing improvement.

For our clients, this translates into dependable project outcomes, clear documentation, and a fencing partner that treats quality as a system rather than a one-off checkpoint. Every project benefits

from the same rigour, regardless of scale or complexity.

ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management Systems

ISO 14001:2015 sets out the requirements for an effective environmental management system. Our alignment with this standard reflects our responsibility to minimise the environmental impact of our operations, from material sourcing and waste management through to site practices.

Clients working with Lee Group can be confident that environmental considerations are built into our planning and delivery process, supporting projects that meet both commercial and sustainability expectations.

ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

ISO 45001:2018 is the global standard for occupational health and safety management. This accreditation formalises our approach to identifying risk, protecting our workforce and sub-contractors, and maintaining safe working environments across every site we operate on.

This standard works alongside our existing OH&S practices, including Job Safety Analyses, site-specific risk assessments and fully trained personnel, to give clients confidence that safety is managed proactively rather than reactively.

ISO 3834-2 – Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding of Metallic Materials

ISO 3834-2 sets out the quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials. This certification confirms that our welding processes, from personnel qualification to procedure control and inspection, meet a recognised international benchmark for structural integrity.

For clients, this means welded components and structures supplied by Lee Group are produced under a controlled and auditable quality framework, reducing risk and supporting long-term structural performance.

AS/NZS 5131:2016 Construction Category 3 (CC3) – Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection Compliance

AS/NZS 5131:2016 governs the fabrication and erection of structural steelwork in Australia and New Zealand. Compliance at Construction Category 3, the highest category under the standard, applies to structures with greater consequence of failure and complexity, and requires stringent controls across design, fabrication, welding and erection.

Our compliance at CC3 level demonstrates that Lee Group is equipped to deliver structurally demanding fencing and steel fabrication projects, including those associated with infrastructure and transport works, to the standard required by engineers, principal contractors and regulatory authorities.

Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) Accreditation – G2-NW Pre-Qualified (General Works – Noise Walls)

Our G2-NW pre-qualification under the Department of Transport and Planning recognises Lee Group as an approved contractor for general works relating to noise wall projects. This accreditation is granted only to contractors who demonstrate the technical capability, safety systems and quality assurance processes required to work on transport infrastructure projects.

This pre-qualification allows us to work directly on DTP-related noise wall projects with the confidence of principal contractors and government stakeholders, supporting our continued involvement in major infrastructure works such as level crossing removals and road and rail corridor upgrades.

What This Means for Our Clients

Together, these certifications and accreditations form a framework of accountability that runs through every project we undertake. They confirm that our quality systems are independently assessed, our environmental practices are structured, our safety culture is embedded rather than incidental, and our structural and welding work meets the standards demanded by complex infrastructure environments.

For clients across commercial, industrial and government sectors, this means working with a fencing partner whose credentials are verifiable, whose processes are consistent, and whose commitment to compliance is reflected in every stage of delivery.
