Westbourne Grammar located in Truganina, contracted Lee Group to recently complete a custom architecturally designed, unique school fence with use of 2mtr high vertical Colorbond clad with featured sections of spotted gum timber vertical battens, all fixed to steel colorbond posts and rail.
Colorbond gates were also constructed and installed by Lee Group throughout the perimeter boundary fence for student/teachers and parent access and added security.
The spotted gum features were designed to be installed on an angle – around the circumference of the boundary, making this a school feature and giving enormous street appeal.
This architectural design was based on the idea of a non-climbing fence using colorbond sections with only top and bottom rails and the spotted gum pickets were placed evenly with a minimal gap – again to prevent intruders entering and added security and privacy.
The overall result created a natural looking fence, blending with the environment and surrounds by using earthy products and colour scheme, but provided a safe boundary for the school, something Lee Group specialize in.
