Background
Lakeland is a large land development site based in the new Pakenham district on Henry Rd. The Estate and will feature 8 hectares of regional reserve including sporting grounds and open parkland. With only a 350m walk to the new Cardinia Railway Station and easy access to the freeway, Lakeland Pakenham is perfectly positioned with connectivity to the CBD and Pakenham Town Centre. Pakenham has become a major growth area in south-eastern Melbourne as new housing developments have boosted its population and infrastructure.
Solution
We successfully designed, engineered, manufactured and installed a Vic Roads compliant 920 metre acoustic noise wall ranging in heights of 2 metres right up to 7 metres.
Specifications
Hot dipped galvanised steel universal columns set into reinforced concrete footings.
The Acoustic ply is core treated ply and 33 mm thick .
The fence has a colour bond capping fitted to protect top the edge of the acoustic boards.
