Lee Group and Consulting Engineers PROJECT PURPOSE To prevent traffic noise from the Dandenong Bypass Road into a newly developed residential area.
OUTCOMES
– Over 1km of sound resistant fencing was installed along the Dandenong Bypass from Perry Road to Chapel Road in Keysborough
– The design incorporated staggered walls to cater for pedestrian access whilst ensuring noise reduction requirements were met and
– Perspex screens were incorporated to allow for light and pedestrian safety.
MATERIALS
– Perspex and VicRoads approved Acoustic Timber Ply.
