Vic Government New Schools Project

As part of the Victorian Government New Schools Public Private Partnership (PPP) Project, Lee Group installed new fencing at 4 high priority new government schools delivered across a number of Victoria’s fastest growing metropolitan communities including Point Cook, Mernda Central, Mernda South and Epping North.

One of those schools is Featherbrook P-9 College, which will serve the rapidly growing residential areas in the suburb of Point Cook. The school will accommodate up to 550 students and will be open for students, Prep to Year 6 from Term 1, 2017.

The school has been designed with the local community in mind and will be a gathering place for local families and residents to enjoy community, arts, sports and recreation programs.
As part of the new school facilities a multi-purpose space will be used by the school during school hours and will be used by the YMCA out of school hours to provide a range of community services and programs, including an expanded gymnasium built to Netball Victoria standards.

Lee Group installed a number of different fencing types at this new innovative site to ensure the school children and community are safe and secure at all times.
